The Clarté Methodology
Wax
Crafted for a clean and conscious burn, our candles feature a premium, clean-burning 100% Australian soy wax. We dont use cheaper paraffin wax, which can be less eco-friendly and may not burn as cleanly. Our commitment to quality ensures you get a superior smoother burning wax that’s better for you and the planet.
Wix
We've chosen a premium, flat-braid cotton wick, featuring a unique paper core for a self-trimming, naturally bending wick to settle into the flame's hottest point. The result is a more complete and efficient burn, free from the common issues of tunneling or sooting. Each wick is also lead and cruelty-free, coated in a high-melt wax for enhanced stability.
Fragrance
Each candle is carefully scented with a blend of premium, high-quality fragrance and essential oils. We meticulously craft each aroma to be complex, long-lasting, and true to its unique city character. Our commitment is to a luxurious scent experience that is always clean, beautiful, and completely free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.
The Pour
All our candles are hand-poured in small batches achieving a perfect, even consistency for a superior burn every single time. It's a hands-on approach that ensures each candle is poured with care and a commitment to perfection, something mass-produced candles simply can't replicate.
Our recommendation
We recommend an initial burn of two hours (or until the wax melts out to the width of the glass)- this creates a wax memory for your candle, ensuring that it will continue to burn evenly and prevent future tunneling
Before each burn, and especially before the first, trim the wick to about ¼ inch (5mm).
